About

I’m a 30-something year old woman living in Melbourne, Australia.

This blog is my space to explore all things related to living with mental illness and the results of childhood trauma. I also have a few physical health issues including Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS).

I write most about living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID, previously known as Multiple Personality Disorder) and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Other issues along the way include mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, and suicidality.

Life has been rough, but not everything is bad. We’re learning more, and more about ourselves as time goes on.

  1. I just ran into your blog on the eating disorders tag, and I’m so glad I did! I’m enjoying reading your story. Good luck with everything! πŸ™‚

  2. Hey – Just wanna say hello. A lovely bloggin friend pointed me to your site as we struggle with similar issues and said you are a very good writer! So I will be following from now if that is okay πŸ™‚

  3. I appreciate your willingness to be open with your story. I struggle with how much to share, with whom, etc… My very first blog post, written a few weeks ago, is my version of testing the waters. So far, I still have all my toes…no sharks in sight. :). Keep up the authentic work. It means lots to me.

  4. Just wanted to reach out and say hello… it’s been a long time since you’ve posted and you’ve been on my mind. I hope you’re doing okay – feel welcome to reach out and connect with me on fb or twitter or wherever. Hope things are going well x
